I purchased one of these as I would turn up for a game and my friend would pull his out in front of me. The way it carried everything he needed for in-game admin appealed to me as all my dice, measuring tapes, data cards, counters, and mission cards would all just sit loosely inside my backpack. Not to mention having to run around the house and collect them all when I was packing my bag to go and play a game. With the battle box, all my game equipment is stored inside and I can just grab the whole box and stuff it into my bag when I pack.
The mission command stack is really useful too, I use an app to track stats but having a physical counter to help me quickly check at a glance is far easier than having to pull out my phone. It also allows both players to see immediately any CP or VP that I’ve got.
The dice tray is a great add on too as it’s not something I’d normally go out and purchase seperate. So having be a part of this whole package makes it great for me. This battle box is easily one of the greatest quality of life improvements I’ve gotten for the gaming side of the 40K hobby. I recommend it to anyone who asks me about mine.
